Graphic Design Project – Challenges & Solutions
A graphic design project can encounter many challenges. Millennia Graphics in the Greater Vancouver area has the graphic design resources and experience to offer solutions to those challenges.
Design projects can be an overwhelming concept for many.
Whether you have been around for years or you are just starting out, Millennia Graphics takes the guess-work out of branding and creates an easy environment to put together everything from a website, to a corporate or product brochure, to a logo design. And all coordinating with each other to create a cohesive look and feel.
I don’t have the money to hire an agency.
We are not an agency. We are a boutique design house that works one-on-one with our clients to fully understand what you want. People think it costs a lot to hire a graphic designer but we are committed to working within your budget.
My logo is dated and tired.
Sometimes all it takes is a typeface and colour change to completely re-vamp a tired looking graphic. And sometimes it will take a full re-design. We have designed hundreds of logos that didn’t cost a fortune. Please don’t use a “free logo” site - you will end up looking like someone else (or like everyone else) …
My logo is old and the version I have isn’t compatible anymore and the quality of it is terrible to reproduce.
We can re-draw a high resolution Vector file of your logo at little cost* that can be used for everything that you need.
*costs are dependent on complexity.
Agencies are impersonal.
It is not about one project, it is about developing your brand over the course of many years. We like to learn about our clients and your businesses. We invest in long term relationships with our clients – the average relationship period has been more than 12 years for many of our clients.
Our corporate brochure is cluttered and uninteresting.
Too much copy doesn’t make a better brochure. It’s all about organizing the content in clean and concise way. Layout and clear, easy to read copy helps to get the message to the reader. We can help with that.
Should I hire a professional photographer or copywriter?
YES! This is an investment in the future for all your corporate materials so why skimp on photos and good copy? We are well connected in the industry and can help you find the right supplier for whatever additional services you need.
“Designers can be flaky and distracted - they just don’t get the job done fast enough.”
We take design seriously and know the reputation that some designers have in the industry. Because we are a boutique studio we only take on one or two projects at a time. You always get a prompt response to your questions or concerns, and you are only working with one person - not a huge team of people who are “fitting you in” to their busy schedules of many clients. We take customer service very seriously and make sure you are always the priority.
“We get our receptionist to do that work.”
Leaving your branding up the receptionist is not the best idea. You might think they have a good sense of “style” but to save time and money in the long run, pre-press and production always needs to be handled by a professional. Sending a Microsoft Word file to press creates problems and challenges for printers. Unless you know InDesign well, it’s best to leave this work to a professional.
